• Keep your inspiration flowing! Learn how patterns of movement influence your expression on paper. This is not a technique class. This class relates your somatic process to marks you make on paper. You will experience an inter-play of Awareness Through Movement^® explorations and drawing /painting on paper. Move in new ways, exploring refinement or expansion of your physicality and embody it in two-dimensional visual form. People with all levels of experience are welcome. A few reasons you may like to attend:

If you make art or perform, you walk through the world observing people, animals, plants, buildings, machinery, and how they relate in dimensional space. The movement experiments in this Playshop motivate your exploration with paint brush and paper. It’s a way to encourage creative activities to flow easily and spontaneously. We do not focus on technique or producing work, or the right way to move, but rather on discovering process – how your relationship to yourself through movement lessons extends to moving paint on paper.

Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on : ).  Blankets to lie on will be provided; bring your own mat or rug if you need extra padding to lie on the floor. Limited space - register early. $60. members $45.
