Women’s Health and Probiotics — What You Need To Know
Probiotics are everywhere, from the supplement aisle to the dairy case. But what are they? Do they live up to the hype? Do you need to be taking them?
Dr. Gottlieb will give an informative talk on probiotics, including why probiotics are foods, not drugs; which types of probiotic are most effective; what they do (and don’t do); other steps women should be taking to protect their gut health; and when it’s time to talk to your doctor about GI issues.
Dr. Klaus Gottlieb, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist who is committed to helping patients understand their options when it comes to digestive health.
